First Need Deluxe Back-Pack Model purifies almost 2 quarts/minute. Removes dangerous bacteria cysts and viruses. Also removes trail sprays; pesticides; solvents; and other toxic chemicals. Certified to EPA standards for microbiological purification. Unit itself weighs only 15 oz. Ultra-fine submicron filtration removes visible particles as well as bacteria Cryptosporidia and water-borne particles and sediment larger than .1 micron (.4 micron absolute).
