Katadyn Drip Filter Ceramic 1/2 Gallon Per Hour. Holds 2 1/2 gallons of water. System filters by gravity requiring no pumping. Filters can be cleaned up to 300 times and can filter up to 26000 of water before needing replacement. Removes Bacteria protozoa and cysts. Also retains the micro-organisms that cause typhoid giardiasis cholera amebiasis bilharzia and cryptosporidiosis. Average pore diameter of only 0.2 micron prevents the smallest bacteria from passing through. Simple brushing regenerates filters. Permanently embedded silver in the ceramic structure of the filter prevents microbial growth. Does not desalinate water. Dimensions (inches): 10 x 10 x 18.
