Doulton HCP Countertop Ceramic Filtration System 0.5 gallons per minute NSF Certified. Comes with UltraCarb Candle Style Cartridge designed to remove Giardia; Cryptosporidium; E. Coli; Fecal Coliform and other parasites and pathogenic bacteria. Also designed to remove organic chemicals (pesticides herbicides and organic solvents) metals (lead iron and aluminum) and taste and color (hydrogen sulfide and iron). Ceramic Ultracarb filter cartridge is cleanable and has a 6 month/600 gallon capacity (whichever is sooner). Absolute filtration to 0.9 microns and greater than 99.99% filtration for particles from 0.5-0.8. Removes the following contaminants: Guinea Worm (100%) Giardia Lamblia (100%) Cryptosporidium (100%) E. Coli ( >99.99%) Chlorine up to 2 ppm ( >97%) Turbidity ( >99.69%) Lead up to 150 ppb ( >98.25%) Klebsiella Terrigena ( >99.99%) Cholera ( >99.99%) Shigella ( >99.99%) Salmonella Typhii ( >99.99%).
