Specifications:

• Uses the Enpress tank with Vortech distributor which allows the MangOX media to be backwashed at lower flow rates with less water, saving water and energy.
• All the media you you need for the system is included.
• MangOX (formerly called Catalox) is used for removing iron, hydrogen sulfide, and manganese from water supplies.
• MangOX is a media that utilizes an oxidation-reduction reaction and filtration process similar to Greensand, but at a much higher level of performance.
• MangOX contains 80% manganese dioxide in an extremely unique cluster format for enhanced performance and maximized capacity.
• MangOX generally works better than Greensand or Birm, etc. due to the purity of its particles, superior oxidation/filtration capacity, and durability.
• Note that in some waters a chlorine (or other oxidizer such as ozone or hydrogen peroxide) is needed.
• Generally MangOX works better with a chlorine, ozone or peroxide feed in the raw water, but is typically not required if the iron and manganese combined is less than 10.0 ppm and if the hydrogen sulfide level is less than 5.0 ppm.
• Filter tank is NSF certified one piece seamless polyester construction for long life.
• Max pressure recommended is 100 psi.
• Maximum water temperature recommended 100F.
• Rugged heavy-duty Fleck 2510 backwash control valve features fully adjustable backwash and rinse cycles saving water and allowing maximized performance.
• Time-tested hydraulically balanced piston seal and spacers provide years of trouble-free service.
• Non-corrosive high-tech material construction.
• 12-day time clock can be programmed so the filter backwashes at any time of the day at intervals of every 1 2 3 4 6 or 12 days.
• The recommended maximum flow rate for best filtration performance is 9.0 gallons per minute but peak flow rates of 20 gallons per minute are possible.
• The backwash flow rate is 12.0 gallons per minute.
