Calcite Blend 2 80 percent calcite 20 percent corosex; use to raise pH from the 5.0 to 6.0 range up to the 7.0 to 8.0 range; results vary depending on water chemistry. Note: this media does not come blended but calcite and corosex can easily be blended in a bucket or the media can be blended as it is added to a neutralizer filter. If the neutralizer filter is a backwash type - complete blending is not necessary - as the calcite and corosex will become mixed during the backwash process.
