Carbon Block Poly 2-Stage w/ Chrome Faucet: 1/4 inch inlet; .75 gallon per minute (gpm) recommended flow rate; .75 gpm peak flow rate. This is a 2-Stage (2 cartridge) filter system and comes with a lead-free faucet and an installation kit. The installation kit includes tubing fittings and a self-piercing saddle valve to be able to tap into copper pipe to provide the feed water pressure to the filter system. The filter housings are made from NSF listed pure polypropylene and each housing holds one standard 10 inch filter cartridge. This system comes complete with a bracket kit. The maximum recommended temperature is 100F and the maximum recommended pressure 125 psi. There are 2 filter cartridges used. The first is a 5 Micron Depth filter a spun polyester filter which stores sediment from the inside out - holding much more material than pleated filters - and is not washable. The second filter is a Matrikx Pb 1 filter. This is a 1 micron carbon block which reduces lead cysts chlorine tastes and odors.
