Many rural systems that serve
multiple homes, especially in heavily farmed areas, have
the problem of nitrates
in the water. The State of California has specific requirements
for nitrates. In order to meet these specifications, CWS
customizes its systems to assure pure water within the state
standards.

Vista is a growing community in the Hollister area of California.
Nitrates are removed from the water by using an ion exchange
medium. CWS designed the

more than the current state requirements. Because it is a growing
community, the system is also designed to accommodate expansion
and growth.
