Summit Assembly is a custom circuit board manufacturer that works closely with its clients to produce high-quality specialized circuit and control boards for a variety of applications. Since a very high level of finished quality is required, only the purest water is used in the cleaning and rinsing of the newly manufactured boards.
In this application, a custom system combination of cationic de-ionization water softening, activated carbon filtration, and a high-pressure reverse-osmosis system is used to desalinate and purify the water. The water purification system serves a dual-purpose in that pure water for the staff's drinking water is produced from one stage of the system. This dual-purpose system saved the company thousands of dollars previously spent on rental de-ionization tanks and delivered bottled water.
