Great Northern

Great Northern Produce Co. cleans produce and prepares it for shipment to market. Their specialty is super-clean, top-quality whole lettuce leaves, such as romaine.
After careful analysis of the water, CWS customized a system for Great Northern that would filter the initial well water and prepare it for the cleaning process needed at the factory. Working with their staff of installers, the installation was completed quickly and economically.

Specifications required water that was disinfected and had a prescribed pH balance. The filtered water was  treated  with
sodium hypochlorite for disinfection and a type of citric acid to
lower the pH of the water.
CWS continues to work with  the staff of Great  Northern to  
monitor the system and do routine maintenance.
