Principle Of Operation
sanitron stainless steel ultraviolet sterilizler

1: The water enters the purifier and flows into the annular space between the quartz sleeve and the outside chamber wall.
2: The wiper segments induce turbulence in the flowing liquid to assure uniform exposure of suspended microorganisms to the lethal ultraviolet rays.
3: Translucent sight port provides positive indication of germicidal lamp operation.
4: The wiper assembly facilitates periodic cleaning of the quartz sleeve without any disassembly or interruption of purifier operation.
5: Water leaving the purifier is instantly ready for use.

Stainless Steel Construction
: chamber, head and clamp are electropolished and passivated stainless steel for an attractive finish.
Wiper Mechanism: allows quartz sleeve to be cleaned without disassembling sterilizer.*
Includes Head Clamp: allows easy access to inside of chamber*
Quick Lamp Change: exclusive Easy-Off Retainer Cap enables effortless lamp replacement without shutting down water pressure to tank. No tools are needed.
Drain plug: convenient draingage of purifier chamber.
Fused Quartz Sleeve: insure optimum lamp output at normal potable water temperatures.
Site Port Plug: visible glow provides positive indication of germicidal lamp operation.

* These feauters are only available with these Sanitron sterilizers. The MightyPure or MiniPure series don't have these features.

Sanitron UV Sterilizers Are:
• EFFECTIVE - Virtually all microorganisms are susceptible to UV disinfection.
• ECONOMICAL - Hundreds of gallons can be purified for each penny operating cost.
• SAFE - No danger of overdosing, no addition of dangerous chemicals.
• FAST - Water is ready for use as soon as it leaves the purifier
• EASY - Simple installation and maintenance. Compact units require minimum space.
• AUTOMATIC - Continuous or intermittent disinfection without special attention
• NO CHEMICALS - No chlorine taste or corrosion problems.

General Sizing Guide:

1 Kitchen faucet or small sink:: S14A: 2 gallons per minute

Cabin or house with 1 Bathroom: S17A: 3 gallons per minute

House with 1 or 2 bathrooms: S23A: 6 gallons per minute

House with 1 to 3 bathrooms: S37C (most popular): 12 gallons minute

House with 2 to 4 bathrooms: S50C: 20 gallons per minute

Optional Equipment Recommended for Safe Operation:

The Guardian Ultraviolet Monitor visually indicates the level of germicidal ultraviolet energy that penetrates the quartz sleeve and the water within the disinfection chamber. The Guardian Ultraviolet Monitor is capable of operating an optional Audio Alarm and Solenoid Valve.

Audio Alarms connect to the Guardian Monitor and sound an alarm if the lamp fails or the quartz sleeve becomes coated with minerals or sediment.

Auto-Shut-Off Valves connects to the Guardian Monitor and shuts off water to allow a fail-safe design.

Time Delay Mechanism: for most residential applications we recommend leaving the UV sterilizer on continously. However if the UV system will be turning on and off for intermittent use, a time delay mechanism is recommended to allow the required 3 minute warm up time for the UV sterilizer.

Also Recommended:
Stainless steel mounting bracket kit for wall mounting of all Sanitron S14-S50C Models, makes installation and service easier and convenient.
