UV2800 120V 60Hz standard nema cord sealed lamp. UV ozone generator with an electronic ballast and cooling fan for maximum longevity. Ideal for use in larger commercial spas small residential pools R/O holding tanks and residential holding tanks. ClearWater Tech pioneered the use of a cylindrical reaction chamber for ultraviolet ozone generators in 1986. Materials and component quality have improved since then but the basic design has remained unchanged. Polished stainless steel reaction chambers allow for 360 degree reflection of the light emitted from high output UV lamps maximizing ozone production. The ballasts are UL listed and thermally protected so they turn off should overheating occur. All wiring and components are located outside of the weathertight reaction chamber protecting them from the degrading effects of ultraviolet light heat and ozone.
