This version is ozone-ready and comes pre-wired with a plug-in connection for the optional ozone generator.

The 7500 REV4 Ozone Filter Control Valve works like a high-performance air charger valve, but with an important upgrade: the control board is modified and pre-wired with a pigtail connection so the optional ozone generator can be plugged directly into the valve. No field wiring is required. The ozone generator is optional and can be selected from the drop-down menu.

Standard air charger valves draw in air and maintain a pocket of air above the filter media. Water then flows through the air pocket, helping oxidize iron, sulfur, and manganese before the water passes through the filter media.

With this ozone-ready version, the valve can draw in ozone gas during the backwash and regeneration cycle. Instead of relying only on ordinary air, the filter tank is charged with ozone, creating a much stronger oxidation environment inside the tank.
