Our 2 Stage Filter Housing offers customizable, high capacity water filtration with transparent bowls which allow you to see the condition of the filter cartridges without opening the housing.

The package includes two 10" Big Blue clear water filter housings.

Designed for DIY installation and maintenance to save you money, while the durable high quality powder coated carbon steel manifold ensures long life.

This clear design is ideal for homeowners and businesses that want visual confirmation of when a cartridge needs replacement. Ideal for sediment-heavy or iron-rich water, this housing provides powerful first-stage filtration for whole house systems using municipal or well water.

Built for durability and performance, the filter heads feature copper-threaded 1" NPT inlet and outlet ports that provide secure, leak-free connections and resist cross-threading or cracking. Built-in pressure relief buttons on the caps allow for easy air release when changing filters.

The versatile plumbing connections with 1" NPT inlet and outlet allow for easy coupling.

Installation and Maintenance

Installation is simple using standard plumbing tools. Mount the housing securely to the wall with the included bracket and connect it to your plumbing using the 1" copper-threaded ports. Ensure that there is adequate clearance below the housing to facilitate easy filter changes.

We recommend replacing the filter cartridge every 6 to 12 months, depending on the quality of your water. As a preventive measure, consider replacing the filter bowl every five years to avoid wear-related issues.

For best results, flush the system for 10 minutes after installing a new cartridge and check for any leaks before regular use.
