FloMag® PWT Magnesium Oxide Filter Media – 50 lb Bag

FloMag PWT is a granular magnesium oxide filter media made by Martin Marietta Magnesia Specialties for drinking-water treatment. It is designed for point-of-use acid neutralization: adjusting the pH of potable water that starts above pH 4.

• Magnesium oxide (MgO): 98.6% typical
• Bulk density: 72 lb/ft³ loose, 78 lb/ft³ tapped
• Certified to NSF/ANSI Standard 60 (Drinking Water Chemicals – Health Effects), pH-adjustment category; maximum use level 100 mg/L

Storage: keep the bag dry. Moisture can cause the media to cake.
