Description

The Aries 4.5" x 20" Fluoride Reduction Filter Cartridge is designed to reduce fluoride in municipal drinking water using specially prepared activated alumina media. This replacement cartridge fits standard 4.5" x 20" Big Blue filter housings and provides long service life with approximately 13,000 gallons of fluoride reduction capacity when treating water containing 1 ppm fluoride.

Laboratory testing has shown the media can reduce fluoride concentrations from approximately 10 ppm to below 0.2 ppm under appropriate operating conditions. For optimum fluoride removal, operating flow should not exceed 4 gallons per minute.

This cartridge is an excellent choice for whole house systems in smaller homes or for point-of-entry drinking water treatment. Larger homes with higher water demand can install multiple cartridges in parallel to increase flow capacity.
