- Pro-OX Manganese Dioxide is an NSF Certified natural high purity mineral that is used for removing iron, hydrogen sulfide, and manganese from water supplies. Removes up to 30 PPM iron and 15 PPM manganese. Higher levels possible with injecting air, chlorine or hydrogen peroxide ahead of filter. High Flow Commercial Greensand Filter Remove Iron, Manganese
Works with Chlorine Feed. No Potassium Permanganate Needed.
Powerful iron filtration removes iron, manganese, and hydrogen sulfide.
This type of greensand filter does not use potassium permanganate but does require the water be chlorinated ahead of the iron filter.
A simple chlorine feed pump ahead of the greensand filter allows superior performance of iron and manganese removal (sold separately)
Oxidizes and removes up to 30 PPM iron, 5.0 PPM manganese, and sulfur odors with chlorine feed and optional contact tank.
