    Description

JPRO-38 Replacement Diaphragm for HS Series Metering Pumps

If your JPRO-38 metering pump has lost output, is leaking, or no longer holding pressure, a worn or ruptured diaphragm is often the cause. This replacement diaphragm is designed to restore your pump to proper operation quickly and easily.

    Designed for Accurate Chemical Dosing

The JPRO-38 pump uses a PTFE diaphragm to deliver precise, consistent chemical injection. Over time, diaphragms wear out due to constant flexing and chemical exposure. Replacing the diaphragm restores the pump’s ability to meter chemicals accurately.

    Key Features

    • Compatible with JPRO-38 metering pumps
    • Durable PTFE construction for chemical resistance
    • Restores pump performance and output
    • Maintains accurate dosing (±2% metering accuracy when properly adjusted)
    • Easy replacement with basic tools

Common Signs You Need a New Diaphragm

    • Low or no chemical output
    • Pump runs but does not build pressure
    • Visible leaks from pump head
    • Inconsistent dosing or loss of prime

    Simple Replacement Procedure

Replacing the diaphragm is straightforward and can typically be done in under 30 minutes:

    1. Turn off power to the pump
    2. Remove the pump head screws
    3. Pull the liquid end assembly forward
    4. Set stroke length to 0%
    5. Remove the old diaphragm and install the new one
    6. Set stroke length back to 100%
    7. Reassemble and tighten screws evenly

Tip: Tighten screws evenly to ensure proper sealing and long diaphragm life.

    Why Diaphragm Maintenance Matters

The diaphragm is the core component of your metering pump. According to the manufacturer, diaphragm failure is one of the most common causes of reduced output or pump failure.

Routine replacement helps prevent downtime and ensures your chemical injection system continues operating safely and effectively.

    Applications

    • Well water treatment systems
