Everything needed to refill a calcite acid-neutralizer filter with a calcite/FloMag blend: two 50 lb boxes of calcite (100 lb) and one 20 lb box of FloMag PWT magnesium oxide, making a 80/20 calcite-to-FloMag blend by weight.
- About the FloMag PWT: granular magnesium oxide (6 × 16 mesh, 98.6% MgO typical) from Martin Marietta Magnesia Specialties, designed for point-of-use acid neutralization of drinking water with a starting pH above 4
- Made from FloMag PWT, which is certified to NSF/ANSI Standard 60 for pH adjustment.
Storage: keep FloMag dry. Moisture can cause caking.
