    Specifications:

    • Maxi-Vent System 115V air-pump and aeration of water.
    • As water flows through Max-Vent System the water falls through a head of air inside the tank.
    • The air is replenished automatically by the Air Pump and vented off by the Maxi-Vent solenoid vent, typically controlled by a timer (order as an option if desired)
    • Use prior to a Pro-OX, Filox, Greensand or Birm media iron filter, or a Catalytic Carbon backwash filter for excellent removal of odors, iron, manganese and sediment.
    • System operates on 115 voltage.
    • Can be utilized for flow rates up to 15 gallons per minute.
    • Quiet and reliable.
    • For residential and light commercial applications.
    • Maintains a head of air inside pressurize tank so water contacts air as water flow into air tank.
    • This includes an installation kit with a aluminum shelf to mount the compressor, two air check valves, pressure gauge, poly connectors with tubing and air regulator valve.
    • For most home well systems the Maxi-Vent system can be turned on and off with a simple digital timer (not included) OR you can wire to your well pump.
    • If you have a standard well pump and you wish to wire to the pump so the Maxi-Vent system turns everytime your well pump runs, we recommend the 220v version (not this 110v version)
    • For most home well systems the Maxi-Vent system only requires it run 10 minutes at a time 1 - 3 times a day in order to maintain a head of air inside the tank.
    • Maximum line pressure is 100 PSI but 70 PSI is recommended maximum pressure for best results
    • At 50 PSI of line pressure the air pump will injection 0.15 cubic feet of air per minute
    • Air pump won't affect taste of water but might improve taste as aeration removes odors which can affect taste

    Typical Installation:

A catalytic carbon backwash filter, or a Pro-OX iron filter works great the air compressor tank to remove oxidized sulfur, rust and sediment

    AP1 Air Pump – Specifications & Overview

The AP1 Air Pump is engineered in the USA and built for hassle-free performance in residential and light commercial well-water aeration systems. This compact yet heavy-duty compressor delivers oil-less, medically safe compressed air, enabling effective oxidation of iron, manganese, and hydrogensulfide gases. Its rugged aluminium body and stainless valves are designed for reliable operation over 20,000–25,000 operating hours, with minimal service requirements.

    Why Choose the AP1?

    • Eliminates the need for complicated venturi injectors and sizing concerns.
    • Introduces air on the outlet side of the pressure tank — avoiding buildup of precipitated iron in the pump/pressure system.
    • Oil-less, contamination-free air for safe, long-term service.
    • No added back-pressure on your well pump — the AP1 uses induction motor technology and rock-piston compression.
    • Quiet and compact (~8 lbs, ~50 dB) — fits into equipment bays without excessive noise or size.

    Technical Specifications

    • Flow capacity: Supports systems up to approximately 15 gallons per minute. (Install appropriate retention/vent tanks.)
    • Air production (AP1 model): 0.38 CFM @ 0 PSI; 0.15 CFM @ 50 PSI.
    • Maximum pressure rating: up to 100 PSI (70 PSI recommended) for AP1.
    • Electrical (AP1 model): 115 V / 60 Hz / 241.5 W / approx. 2.44 Amps.
    • Weight: ~8 lbs. Noise: approx. 50 dB. Temperature range: 40°F – 100°F (indoor only).

    Installation & Maintenance Highlights

    • Mount vertically when possible, with outlet port facing down to reduce moisture and debris accumulation.
    • The pump should be installed **above** the aeration/retention tank or injection point — this allows condensate to drain and avoids performance degradation.
    • Self-lubricating design — no oil required. Compression cup should be replaced approximately every 12,000 hours, with annual inspection recommended.
    • The AP1 is water-resistant, not waterproof. Protect from rain, direct water spray, or highly humid environments. Use an air dryer in humid locations.

Made in the USA & Warranty
