Description
Pro-OX Lite Iron Filter - Value: 7500-M Valve
- Value system: simple, rugged and our lowest price.
- Runxin 7500-M ceramic-disc control valve: no O-rings or seals, corrosion and sand resistant, built for over 150,000 backwash cycles (manufacturer spec).
- Backwashes by time (days of the week). Program recall after power outages.
- No bypass valve included: plumb a simple 3-ball-valve bypass (inlet, outlet, bypass). Rugged and easy to service.
- No AIR option on this valve.
- High iron needs careful design. Send us your water test, and we'll build the right system around your water and how you use it. We recommend this system for up to 5 ppm iron. Higher removal rates are possible depending on water chemistry. Optional: chlorine injection ahead of the filter. Considering hydrogen peroxide for sulfur odor? We recommend a contact tank after the peroxide injection, then a catalytic carbon filter ahead of the iron filter to remove leftover peroxide.
- The media works down to pH 6.2; we recommend pH 7.0 or higher for best results.
- Pro-OX Lite: lightweight manganese dioxide filter media (12.5% MnO2), made in Texas with NSF/ANSI 61-certified Pyrolox Advantage media.
- Lighter media backwashes on smaller wells than heavy Pro-OX. Your well must supply the backwash flow shown in the sizing guide.
- Customers report many years of service, and the media is easy to replace.
- NSF-certified, one-piece seamless poly filter tank.
- Voltage 110V-230V power adapter. Control valve 12VDC, uses less than 20 watts.
Includes
- Pro-OX Lite iron filter media and bottom gravel
- Runxin 7500-M ceramic-disc control valve
- NSF-certified filter tank
- Distributor tube and bottom basket
- Drain flow control set for your tank size

Peak vs. continuous flow: Peak flow is what the filter handles in normal home use, where water runs in bursts (showers, laundry, faucets). Our bathroom ranges come from systems we've installed in real homes. Continuous flow is for long, steady draws, like filling a storage tank, irrigation, or running water for hours. If that's your use, size to the continuous flow, or call us with your water test.
Backwash Flow Rate: your well must supply at least this many GPM. Many wells make less than 10 GPM; size the filter to your well. Flow Rate Calculator
Short tank (13x30): for low ceilings; needs 12 GPM to backwash.
Recommended use: High iron needs careful design. Send us your water test, and we'll build the right system around your water and how you use it. We recommend this system for up to 5 ppm iron. Higher removal rates are possible depending on water chemistry.
