  • Good for chlorinating well water flow rates from 0.5 to 20 gallons per minute
  • Metering pump can deliver up to 22 gallons of chlorine solution per day.
  • Metering pump is easily adjustable to get just the right chlorine residual that is needed.
  • Works for line pressures up to 100 PSI
  • Dimensions: 5 gallon model: 10" x 10" x 15", height including pump is 26"
  • Dimensions: 15 gallon model: 14.5" wide x 24", height including pump is 35".

  • Dosage is controlled by the flow sensor as well as digital controls on pump
  • De-gassing vent built-in makes the pump great for chlorination use
  • Unlike Stenner-style peristaltic pumps: no pump tube failures, no rollers to go bad, needs less service, and good for continuous duty
  • Uses regular household bleach (5% sodium hypochlorite) or liquid pool chlorine (12% sodium hypochlorite)
  • These heavy-duty metering pumps systems are designed to last for many years with minimal maintenance.
  • Pump easily mounts on the top of the tank or a wall
  • Primes super fast, and won't lose its prime.
  • Complete system includes chlorinator pump, solution tank, injection check valve, tubing, fittings

  • Each System Includes:

  • J-PRO-22 Home Well Water Digital Pulse Chlorinator Pump with 5, 15 or 35 gallon heavy-duty polyethylene (HDPE) solution tank
  • CWS Lead-Free  heavy-duty nylon engineered plastic pulse flow meter and cable.
  • Tubing and fittings to connect pump to injection check valve
  • Injection Check valve 1/2" NPT
  • Easy to read Manual
  • Professional Tech Support from WQA Water Specialists if you have any questions
  • What size solution tank should I order?

  • We recommend the 5 or 15 gallon tank.
  • There is usually no home well water application where the 35 gallon tank is needed.
  • Most of our customers use 2 - 5 gallons of chlorine solution per month.
  • There is no advantage to using a larger solution tank in most cases because the chlorine can/ will go bad, after a couple of months.
  • Mix up enough fresh chlorine solution to last for 3 months as chlorine can lose its strength over time.

  • How much space is required to install the system?

  • Flow meter including the built-in unions is 15" long and requires 15 to 16" of horizontal pipe length.
  • The injection check valve (where the chlorine solution is injected) is 1/2" male pipe thread and only requires a PVC tee.
  • The solution tanks sit on the floor and are either 14.5", 15.8" or 18" depending on size you select.

  • What type of bleach should I use?

  • You can use liquid bleach as long as it is only sodium hypochlorite with no additives.
  • Some areas have HASA brand liquid bleach which is NSF certified for drinking water
  • Do not use household laundry bleach, as it contains additives
  • We recommend using NSF Certified Chlorine Powder which has no additives or contaminants
  • To use just add 1 oz of powder to 1 gallon of soft or purified water to make up your solution
  • 1 5-lb jug is more than enough chlorine for most residential well applications for 8 to 12 months
  • Stores for up to 8 to 12 months in cool, dark, dry location.
  •

1 Year Warranty. 90 Day Money Back Guarantee. We guarantee it works great for you or your money back.  If your pump fails under warranty, please call or email our office to obtain a Returns Good Authorization Number before sending us back the pump for repair or replacement under the warranty. No returns can be accepted without an RGA number.

The Warranty covers repair and/or replacement of the metering pump but not shipping costs.

While defects are rare, we do our best to respond to warranty returns fast as we can. Please allow 3 to 5 business days after pump has been returned for your pump to be repaired or a new one supplied under the warranty agreement.

If the water supply and its continuous chlorination are critical, a back-up chlorinator pump should be on hand. Shipping charges are not covered under warranty.. Any expedited shipping (overnight, 2-day, etc.) is the customer's responsibility.

Conditions Not Covered by the Warranty:

Power surges or outages that cause pump failure are not covered under warranty.

Surge protection is strongly recommended. If a pump is returned for warranty replacement and the cause of failure is determined to be from a voltage spike, the pump does not qualify for replacement. This is the leading cause of failure. Pump failure during, or because of, power failure is not covered under warranty.

This pump is intended for indoor use only. The pump must never be exposed to freezing temperatures, direct sunlight, or rain. If the cause of failure is determined to be from exposure to any of these environments, the pump does not qualify for replacement and will not be covered under warranty.
